Do not take Valtrex (valaciclovir) if you are allergic to valacyclovir or acyclovir (Zovirax). Tell your Doctor if you have HIV/AIDS or weak immune system. Also tell your Doctor if you have a kidney disease or if you have had a kidney or bore marrow transplant.

Tell your Doctor if are pregnant or beast feeding. Also tell your Doctor about all the medicines you currently take, including prescription and non-prescription medicines, vitamins, and herbal supplements before you take Valtrex.
